The L frame has been sealed with acrylic medium for easier cleaning and is prepared for use. I have begun layering my first statement "I AM NOT A PETTING ZOO" overtop the portrait. I am concerned that the red ink will fade and become less visible as it dries, and I am considering doing an initial layer of white for the statement to print over in red once dry for easier visibility. I am also thinking that for future layering statements I would like the words to be larger and take up more space over the portrait to reinforce the idea that I am not making this beautiful portrait to be admired but instead I am looking to interrupt the portrait with a bold, in your face statement.
